PaymentsPricing Engine

Price the trip once. Reconcile what actually happened.

Build one pricing model for dispatch, online booking, and GNet. Use mileage and time, hourly service, contracted routes, or directional airport and ZIP rate tables. InstaRoute preserves the booking price, then reconciles the completed trip against actual service and toll data.

ONE SERVER-AUTHORITATIVE QUOTE

The same engine answers wherever the trip enters

Dispatch, the branded booking experience, and GNet all call the server-authoritative engine. Routes and prices are calculated on the server, and online booking checks feasibility before it confirms the reservation.

ESTIMATE TO ACTUAL

Keep the estimate. Price the completed service.

The booking price remains frozen as the original estimate. When the trip completes, InstaRoute recalculates from the completed service window and the configured toll mode, so the final record shows what changed and why.

Questions about the pricing engine.

What kinds of trips can the pricing engine calculate?

InstaRoute supports transfer, hourly, contracted, and directional airport and ZIP rate-table pricing. You can configure vehicle-specific rates, minimums, wait time, stops, gratuity, deposits, cancellation terms, fees, taxes, fuel, and tolls.

Can a fixed rate include taxes, tolls, or airport fees?

Yes. Each directional fixed rate can define which configured charges are included in the fixed rate and which are added on top. That can include taxes, airport or location fees, named one-time fees, tolls, fuel surcharge, and gratuity without rebuilding the underlying fee rules.

Can different customers or partners receive different pricing?

Yes. Customer terms can change discounts, tax treatment, gratuity, and deposits. Contracted routes can replace the standard transfer fare, corporate accounts follow their billing terms, and GNet affiliates can use wholesale discounts.

Does online booking check whether the trip can be done?

Yes. InstaRoute checks availability before showing vehicle prices and again before booking. Options known to be unavailable are blocked. If the check is indeterminate, the reservation can continue as Pending Review instead of pretending the answer is certain.

What happens when the final trip price differs from the estimate?

The booking estimate remains preserved. After the trip, InstaRoute uses completed-trip service facts and the configured toll mode to calculate the final price, then sends it through the correct card, invoice, prepaid, or affiliate billing lane.

Are taxes calculated automatically for every jurisdiction?

No. Operators configure the tax rules that apply to their business. InstaRoute applies those rules consistently, but it is not an automatic tax-law or compliance service.

What if service time, tolls, or another required fact is missing?

The trip moves to Pending Review. InstaRoute does not silently invent a final price or settle an unresolved amount.

Stop rebuilding the price at every handoff.

Configure the model once, return a clear estimate, preserve the booking price, and reconcile the trip through the correct billing lane.
